A medical degree from UNDSMHS prepares you for the issues you will
encounter in a challenging medical career, as we enter a new century
of globalization and information technology. At this core however, we
believe in preparing caring physicians, and the way we treat our
students influences the way they will treat their patients.
Our school is small, with only 62 students per
class. I assure you that many other members of the medical school
community (students, faculty and staff) are as eager as I am to meet
you. You can expect a friendly and enthusiastic greeting as you arrive
here. You will receive hands-on, individualized instruction by a
faculty committed to excellence in your education.
The faculty and administration have taken
major steps to make this a learning organization, and we care deeply
about continually improving our curriculum, programs and facilities.
We have just recently completed construction of state-of-the-art
classrooms, equipped with new technology. We also have an ultra-modern
clinical education facility to further our standardized-patient
learning activities.
Again, on behalf of everyone at the UND
medical school, I am delighted to welcome you to the campus and to
your new life as a medical student.
Sincerely,

H. David Wilson, M.D.
